Back pain

I am almost 34 weeks and the back pain is really starting to set in.  Just wondering how everyone else is doing and if anyone has found any relief from their back pain.  I've had my husband give me a massage and it doesn't seem to help.  The pain is mostly in my mid-back on my right side.  Sometimes it feels like little one is pinching a nerve and it hurts like heck!  I've tried a couple of stretches, but my belly just seems to get in the way : )

Ah!  This back pain is getting uncontrollable.  I spoke with a nurse and she said I am not allowed to use a heating pad or sports creams.  I asked her how I am suppose to get relief and she through massage.  Massages aren't helping!  She said likely the baby is sitting on a nerve and until he moves, I will be in pain.  Great something to look forward to!

I am right there with you on the back pain and I am 34 weeks 3 days - but my pain has been off and on since about 30 weeks ( it doesn't help to have a 15 month old who insists that you carry him arround everywhere, though).   I had a friend who recommended that I go to a chiropractor - and she said as long as though know that your pregnant (at 34 weeks you shouldn't have to tell them, but you better just in case), it is completely safe and it did wonders for her (I haven't had the time to go yet).   I asked my OB and he said it was fine, so get the go ahead from you doctor and maybe a chiropractor can work a miracle on your back.
