checking up on everyone!

hey ladies! I just wanted to know how everyone has been feeling. How far along everyone is, what new and exiting symptoms you have been getting, etc. has everyone broke the big news to family and friends yet? most of us are almost halfway through, which is crazy because i feel like this community was just created not long ago! things are moving really fast! what is everyones birth plan? complaints? baby names? fill me in!

as for me, I am about 15.4 weeks along. Husband and I are getting very anxious, just hoping everything goes as planned, still not positive on names...although for a girl we are pretty sure of Journee but no middle name yet. For a boy maybe Luther or Davian or Davian Luther lol. we like those different ones! Not finding out the sex! I am definitely beginning to look pregnant, right after my complaint about not showing i blew up. really no more symptoms that are very bothersome, just occasional headache, every day stuffy nose, fatigue. but other than that i have NEVER felt better. My daughters are getting exited because they can finally feel something in the belly. I have found an awesome Midwife and birthing center. only trouble is its a bit of a drive. so we plan on taking a mini-vacation maybe a week ahead of due date (unless something happens sooner, knock on wood!) just in case. there were just no other options except for a hospital birth in our area, and im not doing that again...unless i have to! but the drive isnt more than an hour. my mother was completely horrified at the thought of no doctor and team of nurses being around. lol but i know once the baby comes everyone will be on board.  so we are just waiting!

im 14 weeks 5 days!! im due may 27th. im feelin much better...sometimes i still get nauseous but for the most part it is much much better! now i get headaches quite often & ive been a lot more tired than i was in the first trimester! kinda weird. im not showing yet...which is a little worrisome. i have a small bump but you would only notice if you know me real well and i didn't have a shirt on. anyone else not showing??
as for birth plans im delivering at a hospital in my area..with as many drugs as they'll give me! haha i'd rather not feel anything.
for names i honestly have no idea! we were thinking jaiden for a boy but now im not so sure! we considered alessandra for a girl but then i thought i didn't like it anymore...my next appointment is at 16 weeks...they said they dont give another ultrasound until 20 weeks but im gonna try to convince them to give me one!

Hello, I'm 18 weeks and 3 days today!
Just came from my ultrasound appoinment. The sonographer said it looks like it's boy, but she wasn't sure. Oh well, as long as the baby's healthy!
During the first trimester, I was nauseated all the time, never threw up, but I almost wished I  did! I also had a lot of food aversions, so kinda lost weight.
This trimester, I'm eating everything. Nausea's gone, and I'm craving so much junk food. It's not good, so I resort to fruits and healthy stuff. But still, I couldn't resist eating some chocolate and chips the other day!
Congratz to all the expectant mommies out there! I hope you guys all have a wonderful pregnancy!

im glad to hear everyone is doing so well and for the most part everyone is done with their morning sickness! sunkissed- congrats on the baby boy! how exiting! and jamh- wow, twins! ive always wondered how there is any room for twins in there. has everyone else been getting braxton hicks? i get them pretty much all day, the right side of the uterus most often though, and it swells huge! ive been getting kicks for about a week now. anyone else? my biggest complaint at the moment is feeling like i have a big "handicapped" sign hanging off my forehead, nobody will let me do a thing, and i know im perfectly capable of doing many things i did before. but i know its with the best intentions that everyone keeps treating me like an invalid. it will all be over before we know it!
acisse- depending on where you live they should have some listings of midwives in your (general) area, i too had the same problem and now that i have one the drive is more than ideal but im determined! i found mine online, texas association of nurse midwives. good luck! keep trying
and durhamjk- ugh DH has changed his mind again. he doesnt know what name he likes with either sex. i guess we will see what hits us when "gummi" is born! gummi is what we call it now because of the ultrasound pic, it reminds us of a gummi bear.

i am also 17 weeks 3 days (durhamjk1 and i are both due first...on the first lol)
we found out the gender on thursday! its a BOY!! his name with be Matthew Aaron (matthew is Df's name and Aaron is my only brothers name)
i still pretty much havent had a break from symptoms...my morning sickness has lessened a lot but i still get sick! im probably just gonna be one of the "lucky" ones whose sick the whole time lol yay.
we have our next u/s on December 10th and i will be 20 weeks then...im a high risk pregnancy so i get u/s every 3 weeks. we have a lot of great pictures!!
i dont really have a birth plan yet..im delivering at the hospital my high risk ob delivers at and it just so happens to be the best birthing hospital in the pacific northwest...it wasnt reccomended that i use a midwife...i wanted to though but i have a lot of complications and need to be monitored. i want to try and go natural but we'll see what happens...if i cant handle it then ill get an epidural. but i want to avoid a c section at all costs!
durhamjk1- my brother and i are 17 months apart and it was really fun to have a brother that close in age...yeah we fought but we also have a ton of great memories..we got to experience everything together and were always wanting to do the same things since we were in the same age group!

I am 17 weeks 3 days!
We find out the gender next monday!
Names - I am not sure about - we like  Levi for a boy, but I also like Kinuel for a boy (it was my late grandfather's middle name) and I like Kendall for a girl.  But those are just my thoughts - DH won't give input until he knows the gender (lol).
This is my second pregnancy and now that I am not as fatigued - I feel great! (it is hard to rest chasing the little one around).  I am going to give birth at the local hospital, but I am using a midwife and I am not going natural , I will be using an epidural.   I probably could go natural, if it weren't for back labor!   I am such a wimp when it comes to pain!

My son will be turning one year old on 12/5 - so these two will be 17 months apart and sometimes I ask myself, "What was I thinking?" but I know what I was thinking - I Wanted them to be close in age so they could play and grow up together, but still I know it will be hard.
