i agree with kbender i took a low dose pain killer for a headache the other week that is ment to be safe i took it twice in the week and after each time i took it i bled i cant prove it was the pain killer but was way to suss for me so just be careful :)
honesty i wouldnt, my doc told me it would be safe to take a rx med during my last pregnancy, and my little girl was born with a rare heart condition. If you can help it please dont.
I looked this up on ehow.com
Amoxicillin is a prescription drug used to fight off infections and bacteria. This drug is FDA approved and is often used for long periods of time, usually between 5 and 10 days. No drugs are completely safe during a pregnancy, but some prescription drugs have more dangers than others. Amoxicillin is rated as "B" grade by the FDA, since a few studies have shown that it can have a negative effect on the fetus.
It also went on to say you should talk to your doctor about your concerns and if it is safe to take since you are pregnant. I hope this helps.
