my back hurts!!!

im sorta on the verge of freaking out. today i went to a reunion, which was outside, kinda hot today and a lot of walking around. and maybe i think i overdid it, because now that im home and kicking back, my lower back is kinda sore, it doesnt feel right....
however, im not new to a lot of walking and exercise, so i dont see how today would really have any effect, other than maybe just standing so much. so im a little worried, i hope this doesnt signal anything serious, i dont have any bleeding, or cramping or anything. anyone experience anything like this?

hey! yea its good some days, a little achy on others. i walk a lot at school. all my classes are clear across campus, with only ten minutes for me to make it to each one, so im walking pretty fast and with plenty of books to carry! when i get home i sit back and relax for about 30 minutes, more if i can get away with it, and then it goes away. thanks!

I had a sore low back around 4 weeks pregnant after I did a 40 min run. I did lots of reading and it seems it was probably the pelvis moving around. I've stopped running and the pain has gone. If it do a lot of walking etc. i do get a sore back. Take it easy. I hope it has cleared as I see you wrote this a while ago.

You can take baths, but you need to make sure the water is not too hot, because being completely submerged in a tub like you are, it can raise your body temp too much for the baby to be able to handle it.  That's also why they say no saunas or hot tubs.

A state of mind...LOL.. so did I until I got preg and realized that the cravings and aversions were all FOR REAL!  LOL - My hubby would get a whoopin if he said it was a state of mind. I have been preg since Jan 09, lost the baby at 20 weeks and got preg again nearly right away....my poor hubby has been through the first trimester 2x with me....and lemme tell you he knows this time what to say and do LOL. Silly men - if only they could get preg one time too. hehe

I had serious back pain between 7-10 weeks of my preg. I asked my doc and she said that my body is shifting and making room for baby. I would not worry unless there is blood or severe abdominal cramping. I remember I was not able to sleep and sit in different ways...it was brutal. I used to take baths, I know some ppl say no baths allowed but I made sure that the water temp was able to hit my inner wrist and I would sit in it for a while to relieve the pain. I also did some stretching which made it feel better. If you have a loving hubby (hehe) he may even be able to massage lightly on the back with some oil. I got one of those once :) and it felt great. NO NEED TO WORRY!   :)   Take care of yourself :) I am in my 13th week and starting having some back pain again today. I am hoping its not starting again but you will have these aches and pains throughout the preg - stinks but all worth it in the end.
