She has been released from the NICU. We are so happy to have her home with us. I just can't believe she came so early. On the 12th of April I had a constant pain that lasted 45 mins. I thought it was round ligament pain. Then around 7:30 pm I had pain off and on, it was very painful at times, but I thought maybe braxton hixs. It never occur to me that I was in labor. I think in the back of my mind I was telling myself it's was too early for me to be in labor. Told my husband to stay home with our DD and that I was going to run to the hospital. He wanted to come, but I told him it's probably nothing and I will be home in a couple of hours. Got to the hospital and they told me my contractions were 2 mins apart. They tryed everything to try to stop them, but counldn't. I started bleeding, so they checked me to see if it was because they checked me earlier to see if I was dilated, but I was closed. Well, when they check again I apartently started dilating. Around 8:15am on April 13th my water broke. It was too fast. I counldn't believe it was happening. They told me they had to do an emergency c-section right away. My dh barely made it the hospital in time for that.
I'm not sure you'll be checking her anymore but I was wondering if your little grl has been released to go home with you yet. I hope so!
congrats! I'm sorry you have to haul yourself to the NICU. That can be exhausting, but I'm thankful she's healthy! Jennifer Rose, welcome to this world, Doll!
I'm sorry to hear that her delivery was so early she has to stay in the NICU for now, but I hope that she will be healthy and strong! Does she look more like Mommy or Daddy?
