Baby Food

Anyone know when they usually recommend to start feeding your little one baby food like Gerber, etc? I am planning on using regular table food pureed in a blender for my lil one. Starting off with just the basics - apples, non-green veggies, etc. His Dr doesnt want him on greens just yet like my first two we waited a few months before introducing the greens.

Youre welcome. I'm hoping the thing about carrots isn't true because they'd be so easy to make.

Good to know about the carrots. We bought a baby bullet :) But I'll ask my Dr about the carrots when the time comes. Thanks for replying :)

Its usually recommended to start baby cereal around 4 months and vegetables/ fruit around 5-6 months. I plan on making a lot of my own fruit and veggies too but I heard something about not making your own carrots because they have a high level of nitrates so I need to research that. I can't wait until I can start feeding Genevieve :)
