Hormones or not?

Sooo... at work I had to endure an unruly customer who apparently didnt know much English yet was a manager of a McDonalds somewhere. I work at a gas station and in my 2 yrs of being there I have never had this happen!

He accused me of not putting his full amount on his gas pump. He wanted $11 and the pump stopped at $10.97. So I tried to explain to him that I did put $11 on the pump and just owed him .03 out of it - which I gave him. He insisted I screwed him out of his gas and proceeded to THROW his change AT me. I dont mean a lousy toss and walk away... I mean he deliberately stepped back and launched the three ******* pennies AT me like he was pitching a baseball to a batter or something. The change bounced off the glass wall that is between us and the customers and one penny landed hard enough in the tray/opening at the counter where we pass money through. I lit up into him like Ive NEVER done before just straight cussing him out, etc. My coworker sent me outside to cool off AND HE STALKED ME WITH HIS CAR giving me the finger and all sorts of dirty looks!

Now... should my reaction be blamed on these pregnancy hormones or does anyone else think I acted like what anyone else would have?

The part that says "The customer is always right." I told my boss about the incident this morning though, so he's gonna look it up on the video feed in case the man tries to complain about it. Though my boss did crack a little joke saying that he had a lot of nerve giving a pregnant woman an attitude anyway especially me because he described me as a bomb waiting to go off lol. It was more funny listening to how he said it.

This post made me mad readin it I would have punched him in the face! Why would u throw pennies at a pregnant lassie thats so disrespectful its disrespectful to do it to anyone, where in.ur job title does it say u have to take crab from customers

I would've went crazy on his a** if it was me.. pregnant or not. Obviously he's never been fairy how to treat others or he just decided to forget his manners if he had any. Either way it was unacceptable and I would definitely never let anyone treat me like that. Do onto others is a pretty good golden rule if ya ask me. people can be so aweful sometime.. who throws pennies at a pregnant woman...smh

Well to be honest it sounds a lot like hormones but I can't really tell u if it was right u kno ... like he shouldn't have acted like that he shouldnt have thrown pennies at a pregnant person ! Idk sounds horiable.hope everything's OK!

I would of come uncorked pregnant or not. That is no way to treat somebody.
