too late to tell??

If and when does it become too cramped to tell the sex of your baby? I get to find out on christmas eve :) ill be 20wks. My family keeps telling me I need to find out sooner or the baby will be too cramped and cover up the goods. It happened to them 6 times and they didnt know the sex until birth!! Can i just demand an u/s like that?

thats so funny we are pretty sure we are having a boy but ours did the same thing, rolling around crossing his legs and just would not be still for nothing lol. i go back in 3 weeks and we will look again then lol

I found out the sex of my son at 20 wks and had the docs reconfirm again just for fun at 34 when i had another ultrasound done just to check baby.(preterm labor scare)  it was clear as day at 34 as it was at 20 lol.. he was a proud little boy. i have pix of both u/s to make me giggle. now my little girl that im pregnant with now is being bashful and not letting us get a clear shot of her at all. we are pretty sure by what we've been able to see that shes girl but shes a stubburn one. she was stretched out and rolling around right up until the point we wanted to see boy or girl and she clammed right up. it took me rolling and walking to even get the somewhat views we got lol. we have another u/s next week so im gonna ask them to try to peek at her again she if maybe she'll be a little less difficult lol... shes already like her daddy.. and he's very proud of this fact lol

Its recommended to get gender scan between 16 & 24 weeks but its possiable to c sex of baby up until 32 week

A friend of mine didn't find out the se, of her bub till about 32 weeks. He kept hiding it all the time. But they could see it at 32 weeks so I would say you will be able to see no problem at 20 weeks. Unless its shy and hiding its bits. :)

and baby is still very small at that time only weighing in at maybe a pound.

most people dont have an u/s til around 20 weeks and its fine.
