28.4 weeks in hospital!

Just came into labor and delievery for cramping I had on only my ride side,  thinking it was my appendix or round ligament pain.  Ends up being that my cervix is opening up! Anyone experience this or know if anyone experience this before? Waiting for the doctor to come by with the plan…

Apparently the ultrasound tech measured my cervix incorrectly so I spent all weekend at the hospital for noooo reason! But thankfully everything is perfectly fine.

I just turned 28 weeks today and have been getting contractions! This is my third child and I had last two full term. It scares me to think that I can be dilating now or go into preterm labor but they can give you shots to stop contracting and if your dilated it's ok if it's only 1. My sister in law started dilating at 29 weeks but held the baby in to be full term. So if you can hold the baby for another 8 weeks you'll be good!! Hope all works out!!

They may have to perform a cerclage (i think that's the spelling) it's to sew your cervix shut until the baby reaches full term. However, my friend had the same thing around 21 weeks and delivered her baby at 30 weeks. All the best to you!
