I'm supposedly due May 11th and I went to the doctor Tuesday and they did a vaginal ultrasound which didn't show a fetal pole. However, my hcg level Tuesday was 1457 and I do have to return for more blood work either today or tomorrow (between 48-72 hours). Should I worry?

It is a broken heart that I share the news with you ladies but my pregnancy is not viable.  I have opted for the pill to get me pass instead of waiting for the miscarriage.
I wish you all best of luck

Wish me luck ladies I hope I get to see a baby or something in that ultrasound. I have been driving myself crazy thinking all kinds of crazy things from etopic to molar pregnancy.  I can't wait to see something and put my mind at ease.
I do feel pregnant from light sore breasts, crazy mood swings, bloated, and this week I have been having a hard time with my appetite.

That's wonderful news about ur hormone levels firstbump!!! I'm so happy for you. I learned an interesting fact from my OB today. He says the hcg hormone level in pregnancy should b going up at least 60% every 48-72 hours. With an ectopic they won't go up that much. I believe he said w an ectopic they only go up 10% in that amount of time. However, don't hold me to that BC my boyfriend asked that and I was kinda off in space, lol. I think BC ur levels r that high, that its a good sign. Just my opinion tho. I will keep u in my prayers. :D

Babyplessingerandamanda, thank you for the reinsurance. My levels grow in less than one week to 9985. I'm impressed.

Yes why are doctors so worried in the first 5 weeks, there's not much going on except cells dividing. I had my third us at 3.5 weeks and all they saw was tissue growing in my uterus,  but my doctor still thinks I may have ectopic pregnancy.  They can't say what the tissue is because it's too early. I have no pain or active bleeding.
Best of luck teg86may.

Teg86may, everyone tells me i may not be as far along as I thought. I pray they are right. I've also hears not to do anything surgery wise,DNC,until the 10 week mark. Its very unsettling not knowing what's going on. Good luck Friday and please let us know how it goes. Will be praying there is a change.

Thank you for this post. I'm only 3 weeks,  estimated due date may 28th.
My doctor was very concerned with my hcg levels only 4805 this past Thursday and my progesterone levels are low also. It's nice to hear other women having low hcg.
Has anyone else experienced daily spotting since their conception date?

They saw me early BC I'm a high risk pregnancy. I don't have a thyroid so I will have to be closely monitored for that condition. I also thought I was closer to the 6 week mark by my LMP. My levels have almost doubled in 2 days. My thyroid nurse spilled the beans and told me that BC she knows how worried

It's still really early to be able to see much if anything. I had an us at 5 weeks 5 days and wasn't able to see much either. Dr. Is having me come back this Friday for another us. I'll be 7 weeks and 2 days. Dr. said we'll be able to see a heartbeat. She didn't seem worried though. I know it's really hard not to worry. I'm a major worrier myself, but try not to get ahead of yourself. As long as your hcg levels are doubling all is good. Good luck.

Keeping my fingers crossed. I know it is hard not to worry. All the best to you and I will update my status after the appointment.

Don't worry. Just wait another week or toe before going to te doctors again. Your hcg doubles every day in early pregnancy.
I'm 4 weeks pregnant my due are is 19 May, and I've decided to wait until 6 weeks before going to the doctors.
