Back problems. 39 weeks. FTM

Has anyone's doctor induced them because of back problems?  I have scoliosis in 2 different places, herniated disc's and a bad hip. It's been bearable until a few days ago. I have a doctors appointment on Friday so I'm wondering if I should ask. I will be 39 weeks 5 days on friday. Help?

I'm 39 weeks too, and have minor scoliosis. Back pain has been more of a manageable pressure up til this point I do get some aches and pains that make me wonder if labor will be soon. Induction I have heard hurts alot more than if you were going along normally but talk to your doctor about it. They have asked me a couple times so far if I wanted to talk about induction but I've put it off. If I make it to my 40 week appointment, I am most likely going to have to figure out a date for them to induce if he doesn't come on his own
