I was looking into the implant in the arm. But still kinda nervous since I had bad experience with Mirena after my 1st child. If my husband means what he says he'll get snipped lol then I don't gotta worry bout birth control. Good luck choosing. There are so many types out there. Just go with whatever your comfortable with :)
I'm opting for ParaGard or tubal litigation. I don't tolerate pills and had really bad reactions to shots and patches. Plus, I suffered a pulmonary embolism after using Nuvaring that almost cost my life, so no doctor will prescribe me any hormonal contraception...
I'm going back on the Nuva Ring works perfect for me. Leave in for 3weeks take out for a week to have your period if you choose you don't have to. Since I'm breastfeeding I'm going to see if this would be a great fit... I hope so
I'm choosing depo again. I love not having a monthly cycle. But you still spot for your 4 - 6 weeks after birth but I was on it 2 1/2 yrs and no issues.
I'm getting my tubes tied after while I am still in the hospital. This is our 3rd baby but we have an 11 and 9 year old
Ask ur ob cause if your breastfeeding you cant use most of them.. also i got pregnant while on the pill so i dont recomend that one
My ob refuses to administer the patch because it has such a high risk for clotting. I asked him about the possibility of it after baby.
I'm definitely doing the orthro evra patch! I've done the pills and they made me nauseous alot, and I've known to many people who have had problems with implanted birth control (arm & down there lol) and the shot. I loved the patch, and never had a problem with them. Definitely would recommend.:)
I have done pills, not a fan, and I had the mirena, it was a nightmare. This is our fourth so my husband is getting snipped.
