Csection next week !

i had my last doctors appointment today and had to sign all my consent forms for my csection, I'm very nervous, I haven't ever had any type of surgery and I'm 20 y/o . I'm excited and anxious to meet my baby girl but I am even more nervous to have a csection. Can anyone help ease my nerves .

My only 2 surgeries were my 2 c-sections.  Get up & walk around as soon as you can.  It will help you feel better quicker.  Also, stay on top of the pain meds for the first few days - week & make sure you take some stool softeners while you are taking the pain meds. The pain meds will make you constipated & you won't have the abs to be able to push anything out.  It still is a major surgery but if you follow those few things you should be up, moving, & feeling ok in no time. I'm having my third c-section on Friday!

I can try! Iv never had surgery either and im 27. Had my c section yesterday and i was so worked up and nervous i was shaking. But let me tell you it was soooo easy! You dont feel a thing and its quick! Recovery is not as bad as I thought either! I had him yesterday at 12:59pm and im walking around today with a little pain but they give you pain killers when you need them. Once you see your little baby you wont feel any pain, i just cant get enough of him! So perfect in everyway and im glad I had a c section it was easy. Worst part is a little pain when they do the spinal but its so quick and then your all numb! Good luck I know itll be great dont worry about the pain its really not bad at all
