My first co sleeps he's 5. Ill have a bassanet in my room for this one till she is bigger then pack n play . crib for naps.. I'm dealthy afraid of SIDS so I like my babies close. If I want even a second of sleep I need them with me. I know I'm over protective but oh well.
My son staied in my room until he was 5 months old. He slept in a pack-n-play next to my side of the bed. It was convenient to have him that close with waking up to feed him and changing diapers. He did sleep well through the night but I was constantly checking to make sure he was still breathing. Lol. My son is two now and I still check on him all of the time at night.
I plan on keeping my next son in my room until I feel confident in him sleeping in his own room.
This is my 3rd baby all 3 r girls. I start them out in our room my first stayed with us in our room till she was a year old my second stayed in our room till 10 months. My first 2 girls are a year apart so they were both in cribs now they r 2 and 3 and not in cribs so it will prob be about a year till I put her in there room since they will all share. My older 2 can be alittle rough.
We are putting our baby girl directly into her room ansd in her crib.
This is my second baby and with my 1st I had her sleep in our room until she started sleeping through the night then we moved her to her own room. We'll be doing the same with this baby
I say she's going right in her room butttt my sons 5 still sleeps with us Lol do who knows
She will be in our room for a month or so then we will put her in her room!
In a studio apartment so the baby will be in our room but once my oldest two come back from their father in July all three boys will transition into one room...
This will be our 3rd kid. They all go straight to their room on the 1st night home. I am a very light sleeper, so i couldn't imagine sleeping with a baby in the room. They make so many little sounds and wake up so much (just to go right back to sleep on their own)... i would be up all night. I even have to turn the video monitor down to the lowest level so i don't wake up at every little stir they do.
Our room is big enough for a crib so he will be in our room for a the first year probably. I've heard it is easier for nighttime feedings when Baby is close.
