Glucose test.....I'm confused

so my levels were elevated on the one hour test and I had to do the 3 hour test yesterday. The nurse informs me just now that my levels were elevated on that one as well but my doctor isn't ruling it as GD just told me to decrease my sugar intake and if I have any sypmtoms let them know. I experience a lot of light headed spells but I don't even know the symptoms or what any of this means. Can it affect the baby even though she didn't diagnose me with full blown GD?

Thanks for the advice!!! I'm going to come up with a better meal plan. Even though she didn't diagnose me she still has concerns so maybe if I change my habits now I won't develop GD

Ive recently got this diagnosis due to slightly elevated blood glucose levels. Im now monitoring my levels everyday. Try to alter your diet, avoid fizzy/sugary drinks and foods and minimise your carb intake (i.e have smaller portions of potatoes, rice, bread...instead go for better carb options like brown rice, rye bread etc and keep the portions small of these small). Increase your vegetable portions and meat protein if you're not vegetarian. Ive noticed my levels spike when I have too much starch at one meal, so now I really have to watch it. Its annoying but they're forcing the issue, so I guess I have to accept it.

Ok thanks, gladly they were high enough to the point that she diagnosed me. She still ruled me as being negative for it. I'll definitely decrease my sugar intake!

Yes GD is a very serious diagnosis your baby will grow to big if its not controlled and not meaning to scare you if not controlled can end up as a still born.. sounds like your doctor wants you just to control it buy your sugar intake which is usually ehat they try to do.. dont eat anything with sugar no pop coffee candy nothing it will help you... they also will check babys sugars ehen their born. Make sure your doctor continues to check your sugar levels!
