Group b strep!!!

Been told today at my midwife appointment I have group b strep! Been told I will be on antibiotics throughout labour, anyone been through this? Worried if I go into labour and it all goes so quick and won't have time for the antibiotics, don't want my baby boy to be critically ill :( ftm 36+6

They can run it in fast. My friend just delivered within 40 minutes of arriving at hospital. She told them as soon as she got to triage and they immediately stared her iv and ran in the penicillin. Don't worry you will do great and so will your baby :)

I have in the past and received antibiotics while in labor. I have tested positive again this time and am not too concerned!
