HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE

I went to 1 dr. For a follow up and when they checked my pressure it was high. They called my OB and i had to go in for a NST which was great but my pressure was still up...they drew blood n i have to go back n the morning for another NST...i have no other symptoms  except swollen feet but im 36 weeks n thats fine...the dr office wants to rule out preclampsyia...should i be worried???
I am stressed out with all i have left to do to prep for the baby and i think this could be it...i hope so cause my baby shower is this Saturday n im not ready to meet my lil prince yet!!

You're welcome! I was so worried about preeclampsia. They've tested me twice for it. Definitely test just to get that peace of mind. But just take it easy hun. I'm taking my maternity leave early (was planning on working up until a week before my due date) because of my feet swelling. It ***** but oh well, soon we will have our little babies and it will be so worth it! :)

Believe me, just try to relax. Same thing is happening to me. Every doctors appointment my blood pressure is high at first because I'm nervous/anxious. They tested me for preeclampsia and I didn't have it. But after I talk to the doctor and everything is done they check my blood pressure again and it's gone down. A lot of it is just anxiety. Then Saturday night my feet swelled up HUGE! Went to the hospital to get checked out for preeclampsia yet again, checked my blood pressure, urine for protein, and had a cuff on my arm that would check my blood pressure every ten mins and everything was just fine. We work ourselves up, I know I definitely do. Your feet can swell up from so many different things. They pretty much told me to just take it easy and stop being on my feet so much. Good luck!
