Heart rate?

My friend is due on May 9. She is having a u/s tmrw in hopes to see what the gender is. We know that it probably  doesn't really matter, but the baby's heart rate has been in the 160's each time. For those of you that know the gender, what was your baby's heart rate and is it a boy or girl?

She had an ultrasound yesterday but wasn't able to tell the gender :( the heartrate was in the 130's this time. Maybe sleeping...

Mine is 160 and it's a boy

My 8 week was 175. My 12 week was 165-170. I went to First Impressions at 14 weeks and the heart beat was 154. By 6 weeks of being pregnant, my gut told me girl and it never changed and yes I am having a baby girl (: The oldwives tales have been very true in my family. 150+ a girl. 140- a boy.

At 12w 5d the heart rate was 171... Found our yesterday I am having a baby girl.

Thanks. She isn't worried. ..just wondering how accurate the wivestale about the heart rate being higher is a girl :)

160 is a good rate so I've been told by my doctor, don't worry.
