Needing a little reassurance

I am scheduled for a c-section on Thursday, two days before my dd. Baby has been breech since 32 weeks and since I'm high risk, I decided against version and signed up for c-sec instead. As it is getting closer, I am getting more nervous. It will be my first surgery ever and this is my first pregnancy and baby. I know a lot of women who have had c-section and everything went great. I can't help but feeling a little worried and anxious to meet my little angel. Any advice on how to stay as calm as possible?

Oh wow, that' is a long, exhausting labor. At least I don't have to go through so much torture. I'm glad everything turned out well and enjoy your bundle of joy!

I had my little girl last Tuesday via c section, it wasn't planned though. I was in labor for 38 hours and got an infection so I decided to get a c section because the pain from the infection was unbearable as well as the contractions, making it impossible for me to push any longer. After all the pain I was in the c section was a piece of cake. I didn't feel any pain, just some pressure at the end and then you hear your little baby cry :)  bring some very loose clothes to go home in. I've been wearing a lot of nightgowns. Make sure you walk as much as you can to help the healing. Good luck to you! It's all worth it!!
