Preterm Contractions!!!!

Anyone else having a problem with preterm contractions? My first born was 4 weeks early so my doctor feels that this one will come early as well. It's nerve wrecking because even though she knows I'm at risk, they aren't doing much to prevent it prevent it other than giving me meds to stop them which makes me really tired. I'm a grad student in my last semester of classes and they would rather pull me from school than find other preventative measures. I'm super annoyed about it. I had preterm contractions with my first pregnancy but these started early this time around. I'm trying to keep him in as long as possible, any suggestions?

I'm on temporary bed rest for now. I asked for the surcloge to sew my cervix but my doctor refuses to do it

I'm not sure what else they would be able to do besides give you meds and pull you from school. Are you on bed rest? It sounds like you should be. Good luck!
