Protein in urine??

Went to my 38 week check up today. My blood pressure and baby are good. But he said there was protein in my urine so now I have to take the 24 hours urine test. Any thoughts on actually having preclampsia without having high blood pressure. I haven't changed in dilation or effacing at all since last week.

Hmmm, I have to continuously keep my collecting my urine for 24 hours in a jug in my fridge. I'm hoping it's nothing. I got tested for a urinary tract infection today as well, and that came back negative. But I keep feeling a lot of pain in my lower stomach.

I had traces of protein in my urine on my last 2 midwife apps, she said it could be am infection but when they were sent away they came back clear, they were the only 2 samples from the first morning pee, im thinking that could be a connection but I'm no doc lol hope everything is ok for u too

Okay, thank you for the input. Just makes me nervous. I really don't want to be induced. I went natural with my first and wanted to do it again. I heard the pain from an induction is way worse.
