just had a sweep done a hour ago and it didn't hurt or feel uncomfortable either !? Has the midwife done it rite or dose it not actually hurt? I'm 1-2 cm more 2 dilated has anyone else gone into labor the same night next day with it been like this? Due date today fed up!!

I had a sweep this morning, keep losing bits of my mucus plug. But currently in hospital as was admitted for pre eclampsia and being induced in the morning have got back pain and few tightenings nothing major as of yet

I think it's different for different women. He's dropped and head down I also just lost my mucus plug about an hour ago. Other then that still no signs of labor for me.

Has your baby not dropped? I've not had spotting do you get this at the start off labor or is it different for different women?

Mine hurt super bad and im spotting from it now. No signs yet except back pain and mild cramps.

Aww good glad she has done it!! And so on some women they don't work! I've got lower back pain nothing major but hopefully it's the start good luck to you to !! X

Once the baby has dropped it doesn't hurt at all, I had mine at 39 + 6 and I'm 40 + 2 today and still nothing. Have another sweep today. For some people (24%) it works within 48 hours! Good luck to you!
