So tomorrow I am going to get gentic testing and down syndrome test done. I am really nervous now because everyone keeps asking why am I doing it. This is a normal thing right?

I did it and I don't know what I was expecting. 1st I was thinking I would get results there and then but they said it is 2 parts. They said that the ultrasound looked normal so we should be good though. 2nd I was just expecting something else in total I think.

I got to see the baby though, very active and wiggly. I didn't hear the heartbeat but saw it and it was 167.  I feel better now knowing what it is like, lol.

I'm 12 weeks & had it done yesterday.  This is my third child.  My first one has down syndrome & I'm 35. Both of those put me at higher risk.  I just want to be prepared, which I think is perfectly normal. The bonus is, the test I did I get to find it the sex also!
