baby came in the 28th week
Hi guys,
I'm an ftm from Germany and just wanted to share with all of you that my little baby boy was born on Sunday,22.02.15 8:30 pm in the 28th week of pregnancy with a weight of 1244 gr.
I woke up at 04:30 am with strong cramping back pains and took a bath after the pains didn't go away after an hour. It didn't get better, so hubby and me drove to the hospital were they told me that i had labor pains. I was shocked as it was still so much too early to give birth. They brought me to another hospital with an ambulance as they didn't have an intensive care for preebies...
They gave me a searing to increase the lungbubbles (don't know how it's called in Eglish) of the baby and tried to keep him in as long as possible. They also gave me something to block the labour pains, but i couldn't have something against the pain as that would have relaxed my body and the baby would have come... They wanted to let me like this for 48 hours, but after my temperature rose about 1 degree in 16 hours they found that my inflammation values were much too high and they would have to take out the baby directly.
They first wanted to do a c section but then decided to destroy the amniotic sac and see if the baby comes out normally. Thank god he did. after 10 more minutes pain and 3 bearing down pains,and me screaming through all the hospital, it was done and our little miracle, Noah,was born.
He's a strong little man but has to stay in the hospital till the calculated day of giving birth, which is the 18.5.
I'm happy that he's fine and doing so well, but please pray for us.

Congratulations on your baby boy:) hope everything goes well for you!!!! Do you still live in Germany? Im from there as well but have been living in Canada for almost 11.5 years :)
Congratulations on the birth of your lil Noah :-)...It's amazing how strong our little ones can be just right out the womb...God has him in his arms so no worries needed just keep loving him and letting him feed and feel off your positive vibes. My prayers have been said and I believe he's going to be great. Encourage your hubby and tell not to worry and to be strong for Noah. Lots of love, prayers and blessings your way.

Just for the positive note I was born at 25 weeks 2lbs 7oz and 14in and have survived 30 years... technology and science have come a long way... keep loving him and he will grow and thrive! :)
Thank you for sharing your story, and I wish you all the luck in the world! 28 weeks is early but also late enough for him to do very well with good hospital care. I'm sure he will be fine. Hugs!
Thank you all for your prayers and support. Last night I was allowed to have him sleeping on my chest for 2 hours. That was such a great feeling and he was so calm with me, feeling mummy's heartbeat and breath and I sang for my little one... Today it's Daddy's turn to cuddle with Noah and I think he will do just great although hubby is so depressed and scared to death for our little miracle.
