buying a crib

When did you mommies buy your crib? Or when will you? I'm 31 weeks today and still looking and can't seem to find one we love!

I personally feel like buying stuff when you're like 2 months pregnant is kinds execessive. Not to sound negative but u never know I feel 2 months before baby comes is ok. And in regards to the crib it all depends on u .. some ppl like to use a bassinet the first few months. I feel like baby should get used to his or her crib since newborn as long as it's not far from u. Then IN That case U Do need A Bassinet For Safety Reasons

I bought everything that I needed for the baby right away. I've had crib since about 2 months pregnant and bassinet. And had everything else I absolutely needed bought by 6months. Since then it's just been buying more clothes and extra things. I even have a booster seat and high chair not to mention Walker and the play thing with bouncy bottom to strengthen legs. I am as prepared as it gets didn't want to have anything to worry about in the end. I am now 34 weeks 5 days and am still finding plenty to stress about

I'm doing the bassinet and a Pack-N-Play for now. We'll get a crib when we think she needs one, I just don't want to move furniture in right now. Also, we're looking at buying a bigger house within 6 months (fingers crossed) so I would rather wait until then to get all the kid furniture.

I'm using a pack n play for now since our other daughter is still using the crib we are planning on getting a different bed for her and our son after the baby is born

I got a crib at 20 weeks but also have a bassinett we got for christmas

I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow and still haven't gotten mine lol that's just because me and my hubby work like crazy and we just finished the baby room. I think 2months before is good.

Thanks ladies, nothing wrong with a not so fancy crib, I agree every pregnancy is different,  with my two boys I had them a day before the due date and the other one 2 days after his due date, so I'm hoping she's on time or a little early,  so we ordered her crib and will set it up when it comes! Thanks for the advice ladies!

I have mine. I bought the convertible crib from Walmart it was a crib mattress combo for $200 I'm due May 29th

We got ours as a Christmas gift and I'm due May 27th

I bought mine at 22 weeks at Burlington. Nothing fancy but its nice

We bought ours at 12 weeks when we told everyone we were pregnant. It was our way to make it feel real. ..  I would try and get your crib bought and set up by 34 weeks just in case you go into labor early... However after saying that if you have a bassinet then you could even buy the crib after the baby is born.

I bought one two months ago. There is a history of premature delivery in the family, so I wanted to be sure everything was in place so I could spend time with my baby instead of looking for cribs.
