can siblings be so petty?

Hubby and i are expecting our first baby within days. Before we were pregnant, we basically had to beg our siblings for pics of our nieces/nephews. Since we got pregnant, these ppl started blasting their kids photos. My mum has travelled to attend the birth of our son and my sis in law keeps posting pics of their kids because mums here. Im just annoyed that they cant allow us to be excited for our baby, even tho we were excited for their kids births and my mum attended to them when it was their turn. The same for hubbys bro. We never got pics of nephews, now suddenly theyre blasting pics. Stop being so petty and let every new family member get their time to shine. Im just so cross right now!!!

Don't worry you are not alone.  When we announce our 1st pregnancy both sides of the family were close knit.  Now they don't have anything to with us.  It boils down to jealousy and the need to be in the spotlight.

Just find some like minded people and hangout with them.  But it is harder said than done.

Keep your chin up.
