Diabetes.!!!

so i failed my 3 hour test by a little bit so i was diagnosed with mild gestional diabetes ... So im scared.... Wondering if any of you ladies have diabetes during pregnancy too?

I found out I had this two weeks ago. And it was hard at first to figure out what was okay for me to eat but once I met the nutritionist it helped a lot and after one week on i now know what kind of foods make my sugar high and what doesn't. It's not too bad. Fasting sugar levels in the morning is what they worry about the most too.

@ladysamwise no i only have to be on a diet and exercise a little... No medicine. But yeah im scared im going to be hungry all the time and i'm going to see a nutritionist

I was diagnosed with this pregnancy too. It is a pain in the but counting carbs but it really isn't too bad over all. I'm on a low dose of glyburide at bedtime and just making sure I eat the right amount of carbs at the right times. Are you going to see a nutritionist or a maternal fetal medicine specialist? Seeing the nutritionist helped me a lot.

I failed my one hour by one point.  Now they want me to get the three hour done. So frustrating.  Good luck.
