Baby has arrived

Our little man came at 39 + 5. I thought for sure he would wait until after my due date. Contractions started late Sunday night. Definitely felt like painful period cramps. It took until Monday night for them to become 5 minutes apart at a minute each. We have an hour to drive but it was good. 4-5 cm dilated. Epidural shortly after which was heaven. Contractions slowed too much so was given pitocin. Around 8:30 Tuesday morning, I was given the go ahead to push. There were complications and Baby's heart rate dropped to 70. Emergency c-section was put into effect and literally 5 minutes later my son was born. 6 lbs 4 oz, 19.2" long and so handsome. Home now and life will never be the same. God has definitely blesses us.
