maternity leave questions

Any advice on when to take maternity leave? Having my first and I work full time (40 hours) at a high stress very active and involved job. Plus I'm a full time student getting my masters degree right now. Don't know when it will be a good time to leave work or even cut down on my hours :/

I also work in a high stress job while working on getting my masters degree. I am working on my internship as well so pretty much I never have time to sleep. I am due to complete my internship in March, start taking my leave when my little boy decides he is ready to arrive or until I cannot move anymore, then I should be finishing my degree in June. I am due May 15th. I also only get 6-8 weeks but have job security for 6 months (have to use sick or vacation time to supplement), but I plan to be out for 4 due to needing to continue to have my regular pay coming in. Whatever you decide is best for you and your family will work best, just keep in contact with your doctor and employer about everything is my best advice.

I plan on working until the week before my due date, that way I can take a couple extra weeks maternity leave. My job isn't high stress though and I'm only going to school part time. It just depends on you and how much you think you can handle
