Women have been having babies for years without all this yes and no lists. If you want it I say have it but in moderation. Only thing I listen to is meds and fish
Mayonnaise that contains pasteurised egg yolk is safe because it means the egg has been heat treated. Homemade mayo is made using raw eggs so is a no no
There's actually a what not to eat list on this pregnancy app under week 28 that you can check out (that's how I found out) or just Google one. And don't forget that if you are eating deli meat then you're suppose to heat it up for at to kill all the bacteria... Aren't all the rules of pregnancy grand?? Lol
Mayonaise is made with raw eggs so it is on the do not eat list for pregnant women bc of this. I however love mayo and still have it on sandwiches from time to time but I try not to eat too much. Same goes with ranch dressing and horse radish.. just read the ingredients on stuff and if it contains (raw) egg then try not to eat very much of it or not eat it all which is actually what is suggested by doctors.
Yes I've been mayonnaise from the store during my pregnancy and I'm 30 weeks now
