medicine

Does anyone know of a safe .medicine I can take for a cold. I'm getting really sick despite doing home remedies. I still have appetiteaand staying hydrated but I think I'm starting to run a low fever. I'm 19w 2 days and getting sick is not what I need right now. I know Tylenol is safe but is the Tylenol Cold okay? I wasn't trying to take anything but I think it's time.

My Dr said any form of Tylenol is fine. Even the cold medicine.

Plain sudafed is ok too! I've had  super bad sinus congestion and my doc told me sudafed or benadryl, but benadryl makes me tired!

Well I went to walgreens and the guy suggested the off brand Tylenol cold. see Tylenol cold has some medicine in it starting with a phyn something either way it's harmful to the baby, where the off brand only had acetaminophen in it so it was fine. I've been doing tea wjthlemon and honey and halls but nothing is working. I've been drinking oj like it's going out of style too. I'm going to call my doc and be sure what I have is okay too.thanks

I'm 19 weeks 2 days also and I'm just getting over my cold. I don't think Tylenol cold is safe. I just had to ride out my cold. You can take halls if you have a cough or your throat is sore. And I drank lots of decaf green tea with lemon and honey. That's about it. I hate being sick while pregnant.
