We were actually talking about this in my child development class last night and about how you being stressed could make your own child be stressed as baby and into child's years. The best thing is just relax I use to stress a lot and realized there is no need what is going to happen will happen and I can't do a dang thing about it lol.
Stress is bad i lost a baby to stillbirth 6 years ago i was in a very abusive relationship i was stressed all my pregnancy i always feel like part of what happened is because of all the stress i was in.. Please try to relax. This pregnancy ive been relaxed and happy even though me and my husband had a few fights at the beggining then i realized there is nothing anyone can do thats worth stressing and putting my baby at risk..
Stress will not cause defects, but long term stress including depression will raise momma's cortisol levela, which in turn the baby gets. Raised cortisol levels are associated with fussy, more cranky babies. But not defects
I'm not a Dr, but I have certainly heard that the more stressed out you are the higher your chance of miscarriage. Good luck! And stop worrying :)
