nervous

I'm 28 weeks and I'm just really concerned that I won't know when I go into labor..  Some people say I will absolutely know but some say it could be more subtle and maybe I won't? I am probably just worrying too much but does anyone have any words of encouragement? I just don't want anything bad to happen to my baby

Well the beginning of labor is express in wide variety. The most common I heard is it starts off feeling like gas pains. If you feel like that try going to the bathroom. If nothing happened and the pain is becoming more repetitive and intense then call your doctor. But that's one in many experiences. I got induced with my first baby so I can't give you much further information.

Im the same, ftm and suddenly all the anxiety is hitting me...including whether i will know what to do once baby arrives, breastfeeding, bathing a newborn etc.
I think you will know, the pain many people talk about is very unique and cant be mistaken or ignored. I think youd need to ask your midwife the process. I visited a birthing centre and they mentioned when your water breaks, youd need to call them, theyll ask questions to assess the situation and then if they think you need to go in, theyll ask you to go in, or else wait and call back in an hour or when you see or feel something specific. Im a ftm, so please other mums give us some advice lol!!
