Not sure where you are located but we have a light duty note we could obtain which basically is lay off or they must accept it
hi, I hope this link below is helpful, it's to the EEOC regarding your rights in the workplace as a pregnant woman and also your rights after the baby is born as well. I was fired 3 hours after I told Walmart. They told me it was inexcusable attendance. My problems with attendance had excuses, it was for workmans composition. They still fired me so now I try to help out anyone I find who's having problems in the workplace that's even related to pregnancy.

I stand all day at work. I wear running shoes with orthotics to ease the pain. However, if I move around it's not as bad. Get a doctors note or ask them to let you have sit breaks.
its not ok because they should be nicer.. but is not wrong of them is a job its a business they cant cange their policies because you are pregnant i would say quit if you can or get a note from your dr but is not a guarantee that they will change their ways.. I use to work 8 hour shifts standing once i found out i was pregnant i decided to quit they were nice they got me a chair and all but it was a busy place and couldnt sit for long periods and i was cramping... also is not good to stand too long especially if it hurts
I was a cashier at walmart for a short time when I was around 20 weeks pregnant. My feet and back hurt all the time and my feet were always swollen. My doctor gave me a note to give them but they still wouldn't let me sit so I ended up quitting. It's not right for work places to not let you sit down when you're pregnant. If you need to sit, sit.
Get a doctors note and present it to them. Then they'll have no right to tell you that you have to stand.
Im on my feet 10 hr days and its a killer!!! I feel your pain!!!
That's not right... I get dizzy if I stand for 10 minutes it seems like... hope you get it figured out..
