pain in side

I hope someone knows what the heck this is... im 21 weeks along and i have a deep pain in my back on my right side that i can also feel from my front. I thought it might be a pulled muscle but I'm not sure... it hurts when I'm lying, but also when I'm walking and even taking a deep breath hurts.

I'm in the uk at the moment, might just be the effects of the very long plane ride?

I actually lost weight but I look like I have gained a ton. With my son I carried all in the front but with this baby I have expanded all over so I get asked a lot if I'm having twins.

I had the exact same thing a few weeks ago. I went to the hospital and the doctor said it was a combination if round ligament pain and colon backup. Then when I went to my regular doctor she said it was a pulled muscle. It was extremely painful, especially when I walked. It lasted for about a week and a half, and nothing really helped. Hopefully it's not as bad for you. Good luck!

I had pain that started out like that.. Turns out I have kidney stones. I doubt that's your problem.. For your sake I hope not cause its extremely painful! I agree with the ligaments stretching though!

I'm not too sure what it is. But you are at a point in your pregnancy where your uterus is stretching and your body is changing because your baby is going to be growing a lot now. That could be the pain you are feeling
