Try a new pillow. Sometime I wake up with a bad head and neck ache. I switch my pillows around all the time. It helps to fluff them up when I wash. The next day I always feel better. Make sure it's not your sinus too. I take Tylenol sinus headache medicine. That helps too. Best of luck.
Try using my pillow if ur not keeping ur head straight while u sleep its gonna hurt I have same problem but its not as bad as before but I think most of mine I'd being so tired I'm not getting any sleep due to back pain
I had the same issue after sleeping weirdly one night. There are muscle relaxants that are okay for pregnancy, so maybe discuss that with your OB? It helped mine quite a bit, although I still get occasional tension headaches. Tylenol and a coffee is my new remedy, lol. Just remember no ibuprofen or naproxen (Advil, Motrin, Aleve, Excedrin), they're a bleed risk, I think.
Well I tried a new pillow, that didn't work. Dr gave me flexeril (muscle relaxer) that didn't help. So now they have me trying firocet. Tomorrow will be my first time trying it. So we'll see. Fingers crossed!
I'm in my second trimester and have had killer headaches that go into the left side of my neck. Through trial and error I've figured out that, for whatever reason, laying down brings them on. I've been sleeping in a recliner for weeks and that keeps them at bay. Tried laying down for just couple hours last night (to cuddle with the hubby) and headache all day today. Back to the recliner. Good luck.
I have been having almost continuous headaches for 4 weeks now. Tension headache running in my neck. Doc just said take as much Tylenol as I need...Although I fight that....and that it's the hormones throwing it at all off. I did get a rice bag neck sling from kohls that you heat in the microwave and that helps my neck some. Also try increasing water
