This is my 3rd and I slept on my stomach with all my kids until I couldn't. I know what they say but it's how I've always slept. However you feel comfortable is fine. It's best if you get enough sleepnot how you do it. I tthink anyway.

This is my third pregnancy.  Over the last 5 years since I had my first son, my dr has changed their stance from encouraging to sleep on your side to saying however you are the most comfortable.

I've been sleeping on my sides since I found out I was pregnant, so in a way I'm used to it now...(I think I'm just scared I might squash the baby) however still toss and turn and not getting enough sleep as I wish...and with the introduction of a pillow due to achey loose hips it is even more work at night lol! I have found that taking additional naps whenever possible helps and it somehow seems that resting does something...my belly appears to be growing/firming up after resting? Wonder what thats about.
