Being induced is not terrible but natural is best.  For both of my pregnancies I had to be induced.  My first I sprung a leak with my water and had to be induced.  I tried without pain medication but my contractions were very strong.  They had to back off the pitocin and find the right balance.  Then I got to sleep through my labor woke up and said I had to push.  Labor was only 4 hours and water broke naturally.  Second was a little different as my son is just a little attached to mommy.  Labor was 4 hours but after pitocin did not break my water naturally the doctor came in swept the membranes and the tool they used broke my waters and labor went the same way.  It's not bad.  Just don't push with your face all bunched up.  Best advice I received and get some pain med as contractions are stronger since induction introduces synthetic hormones vs your own balance.  Praying for natural for #3.
Hope this helps out.  :-)

My first pregnancy I had my daughter at 30 weeks. My contractions were so mild I didn't even know I was dilating. I had them 4 about a week before u went to the hospital and they told me they weren't Braxton hicks. I didn't know because everyone tells you that they hurt so bad you'll know when you're having them. But mine didn't. My water never broke no blood no anything. The day I had her they did get a little more intense but still nothing like everyone had described to me. And your first is supposedly your worse. So don't worry about it, just relax. It may be easier than you think.
