Family drama

I went to the doctor and they plan on inducing me in 4 days. I haven't told my family. On mothers day they were making rude comments about my sons father as they always do. They don't like my sons name especially since he is getting his dad's last name, as he should. This is my first and more than likely only kid. Should I be the bigger person and let them know about the induction and continue biting my tounge while they throw stones in a glass house?

I wouldn't. Let it be a time for you, your partner and bub. You don't want that nonsense.

Its not about being the bigger person. Its about you prioritizing your new family. Which is your baby's father and baby. They need to respect that and due to their attitude its probably best that you have some time first together to appreciate the joyous occasion that it is.

Good luck

Nope! I am not telling my in laws my induction date. They have been a royal pain in the neck the whole time and last time they pushed my kids out of the way so they couldn't really meet their little brother this time, no one gets a call until the kids have met her. Your baby your birth, do what makes you happy!
