How does everyone else do it?

Im such a mess! Im emotional, uncomfortable, in pain and feel like I cant do anything. I feel so helpless. Im usually the do-anything type of person and now im about a week away from L&D I feel so useless. If something falls to the floor its like its gone forever. I cant do dishes bc my belly is so big, I cant reach the sink. I cant do laundry bc I cant reach the clothes at the bottom of the washer. Im so far away from my family and my husband cant get off work untill the baby is acctually born. I feel like there is still so much to be done and im nesting, but its killing me that I can't do anything. Does anyone else feel like this or am I just being an emotional wreck? How do the rest of you get things done?

I know how you feel! I have 3 days til my due date and live with my fiance and his brother who don't clean up after themselves for crap and I am the kind of person who feels accomplished and relaxed when the house is clean and if its not I get annoyed and frustrated. It takes me an hour plus to clean our little apartment and the next day, it is trashed again. I could cry out of frustration cuz it takes work for my fat *** to clean this whole place and they don't even try to help keep it clean for a day :( It's really upsetting sometimes cuz I'm so pregnant and everything is a hassle

My opinion isn't goING to be the popular one but I get up and do it.  I take frequent breaks.  I'm pregnant not disabled.  I'm 37 weeks baby and I are measuring 40 And i have gestational diabetes.  I work 10 hour days (7a to 530pm) at a job where I'm up and down all day.   I come home cook dinner, do dishes, pick up around the house. It has to be done and being pregnant isn't an excuse to stop.   I once had to give my 70lb dog a bath at 6 am because she rolled in something dead before I went to worK and the other day I was in the process of teaching a lady how to change her tire when 2 guys came to Help.

I feel the same way too! A couple of weeks ago my husband was trying to flirt with me and jokingly said, "You just want to blame everything you can't do on the baby!" I started crying so fast! I hate that I can't do much. He felt so bad! Lol.
It's rough growing a baby! I forgot how miserable the end feels like.

I have to drive myself to the doctor too. I literally have to give my leg a boost with my hand to break, I am sore and it hurts to lift my leg while driving. Haha.

Same boat. Honestly, I sleep most of the time. If I drop something I get my two year old to pick it up for me. Lol. I still have to do house work... I just do it because it has to be done. My husband helps when he gets home, mostly with vacuuming and keeping up with our two year old, but he has his own responsibilities to tend to so I'm still stuck with most of the work. Luckly, he is there for anything I ask him to do. I just hate asking him, normally being a sahm I do everything. If I can't get it done it just doesn't happen. Lol
Take it easy though and don't over do it! I learned the hard way! If your body is telling you 'NO!' listen, it knows what it is talking about. I have vericous veins on my vigina for over working myself, the last 6 weeks have been hell! I feel like I'm going to split like a melon some days.
We're almost there!!! We'll make it! Don't over work yourself things can wait till after the baby comes to be done. :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I get up to do something for 20 minutes when I have the energy and then I'm spent, back on the couch I go. I still have some things to finish in the nursery on top of all the cleaning I want to do around the house before my lil man arrives, but I'm drained and sooo uncomfortable. Thank god my doctor put her foot down this week on me working any more cuz I don't think I could survive it (I'm a supervisor/server/bartender) 37 weeks and 5 days.

Oh wow. Driving is out of the question for me. I cant reach the steering wheel unless I am trying to drive with this big huge belly. Its good to know im not alone. I was getting waves of energy untill this week. Now I just feel like a huge uncomfortable blob, with a gigantic to-do list. And I fully agree, I clean if I can and by the time I can again I have to start all over. Cant wait till our babies are in our arms. Good luck to us all!

I'm in the same boat, in constant pain, not able to reach the sink, i clean one room and end up in agony for a couple of days so have to take it easy and then when I'm back to myself i have to start all over again, all i want to do is clean but I'm not getting anywhere, it's a never ending cycle, only consolation is 12 days to go and counting, I'm praying i don't go over as my doc won't induce until 2 weeks past my due date Cuz this is my first

I completely understand. I have to drive myself to the Dr because my husband works to support me. I'm 3 weeks away and things are getting harder. Just take it slow. Get a step stool (a small one, you don't want to fall off) for the washier. Squat when picking things up off the floor. I'm constantly dropping things because my carpal tunnel syndrome flared up. Your almost there. It will be all worth it in the end. Hang in there.
