yeast infection while pregnant

What does a yeast infection feel like? Also can it harm my baby if left untreated longer than it should? And does it burn during sexual activity?

I just went through a yeast infection thanks to my antibiotics I was just on. Eat lots of yogurt and stay away from fruit because of the sugar and the yeast loves and thrives off sugar. After a week of trying home remedies I finally bought canestan even tho I'm trying to stay away from things like that but after talking to 4-5 pharmacist they all said as long as your not in your first trimester you are OK to take it but they recommended me not to take pill form just buy the cream that's 50g with 6 treatments its lower then the others. Within 3 days I felt like a new woman again!

It's itchy and very uncomfortable. It's a bit of a throbbing feeling and if you have one, you wouldn't have to question it, you'll just know
