yellowish spotting and cramps

Hi guys! I'm due on May 25th and am extremely excited as it will be my first. I am 4 weeks and 5 days as of today. I've been cramping up almost like feeling period cramps and also getting these weird twinge/pains in my abdomen and back. I have been noticing a yellowish to very light brown spotting just when I wipe for the past 6 days. Is anyone else experiencing something like this or maybe in a previous pregnancy?  Thank you! :)

Thanks guys! I called my doctor last week when it first began and she did some blood work and then more blood work a couple days later. I'm still waiting on pins and needles for the results.

I will also tell you if you have recently had intercourse, that can cause brown spotting with pregnancy too.

Congratulations! Cramping and twinges can be normal. Some women do experience some spotting as well. It's a good idea to let your doctor know about the spotting just so they are aware. I've known many women who have seen spotting and no problems, but it's still always a good idea to let your doctor know.
Good luck!
