Opinions please?!

Everyone keeps asking me "are you gonna have a c section? You'll probably have to!" My dr hasnt said anything about me being small or not being able to give birth naturally but it seems like everyone thinks i wont be able too. I weighed 105 before i got pregnant and am 5'3 now i weigh 150 pounds. Baby weighs 6 pounds 7 oz and everyone tells me hes to big. Im dialted to 2-3 centimeters already. Im 37 weeks today and worried everyones right.

I am a small person, 5'4 103 lbs pre-pregnancy and my dr. Said my pelvic bone was very narrow up and down but there have been smaller women who have delivered 8lb babies with no trouble, and then woman who have wide hips are unable to have a natural delivery. The truth is, you never know even from pregnancy to pregnancy if you will need a section until the time comes and your Dr. Sees how you progress. Always prepare yourself for both but go into knowing that you want to do vaginal and put your mind to it. I am a repeat section this time (twins my first time) and although i hate the fact that i have to have surgery, it is what is best in my situation. Best wishes to you and your little one :)

No problem. It stinks when it's family members or friends do that. My family members try to tell me I can't have a natural unmedicated birth, I hate it but I have to stay positive. Everyone tells me my baby us going to be so big and blah blah blah, but whatever. Just have to shake it off. It's your baby, your birth, don't let anyone get you down.

Don't listen to them. The female body is made to deliver children, no matter their weight. And it looks like your baby is right on point on weight. They're just Nancy negatives. You can do it. Your hips widen for a reason and your cervix dilated for a reason too. You can definitely do it. It's extremely rare to have a baby that you can't naturally push out because of the size.
