I had to cut out all coffee and caffeine due to acid reflux with my last pregnancy, so I never fully got back to regular coffee. My doctor had said a cup a day was fine, but recommended the least amount possible.
I always have a cup of coffee in the morning, it's what gets me going, but I don't make it strong to begin with. My doc said one cup a day is fine. Check with your doc, see what he/she says.
Yes, coffee's not so healthy (especially consuming much more than one or two cups/day). I urge switching to green tea.
Both have caffeine though, so if you're predisposed to anxiety you may wish to keep your intake low.
