sex drive anyone.........?

hi ladies! let me start this way, DH goes to work/field on monday comes back on wed or thurs, normally, i miss him and all through the weekend we're all over each other, well that's history now, for about 4wks now, i find it difficult to relax, and no matter how long he touches me i stay so dry!! he doesn't complain but i can see the disappointment each time. he asked me if there was something wrong once, i told him it's my hormones, the pregnancy, baby kicks and all, since then he's never asked again, i guess he understands. i still feel attracted to him but i don't know why i can't relax completely to have sex at least once a week or so, i now prefer cuddling, petting an all that....really dont want to bore you but i don't know how to handle it, as much as we want a baby i dont want anything to mess up my 5 year relationship! any ideas anyone????

I had a great sex drive w/ my first child 6 years ago when I was pregnant... Now I'm pregnant w/ baby #2, & have barely had a sex drive at all. I feel so bad for my hubby too. I just don't feel in the mood, or am just too tired... I'll be glad when the baby gets here, and I'm not preggie anymore. I love my kids, but hate being pregnant... lol

I recommend a water based lube and a glass of wine. The lube will help with the dryness and the wine will help relax you.  It doesnt have to be but half a glass and I promise after about 30 mins you will see my point. It doesnt hurt your baby.....but they do seem to relax and kick less afterwards.

DH and I feel exactly the same as feather2e: IVF with bleeding problems early on, and bedrest now. Haven't had sex since before the IVF, but this is too important. Been married 16 years, and don't feel like this will negatively affect us; we are working together towards a common goal.

Hmmmm, I am on bed rest and my Dr. told my dh to treat me like a nun!!  NO TOUCHING!!  So, we are out for a while.  I think it is very normal to not be as into it during the late part of your pregnancy.

I wish i could help you as well.  But I havent had a sex drive for a long time.  My poor husband.  I have something that hurts really bad inside when he hits it.  So there is only one position that we can do and very carefully.  But regardless of what I want my husband still gets sex every other day.  He whines and pouts if he doesnt get it.  Drives me CRAZY!!  My best advice i could give you is to invest in some good water based lube.  My doc said it was ok.  But I would check.  It helps out so much and it doesnt dry out after a while.  It actually works with your body.  Good luck.

I wish I could help you, I have been told no intercourse because I was bleeding early on and when we did try I started spotting, so I could plead and beg with my husband and he would be no way I'll sleep in the other room.Fionn is his top priority,me second.
