bedrest

well ladies, I'm on bedrest for the remainder.  I've been in the hospital for a week. Was having fast & furious contractions, my cervix has thinned to 1 mm, and the fetal fibronectin test was positive.  I'm not dialated
(good news), but I'm just trying to get through one hour, one day, one week at a time. Please say a little prayer that my guy stays put a while longer.  I'm just about 30 weeks.

Sorry to hear that!  I will pray your little guy stays in as long as possible.  Here is a book I reccomend (since you will be bored) - "The Happiest Baby on the Block".  It talks about a way to soothe a colicky baby or just fussy babies in general.  For fiction I reccommend Jodi Picoult books (just read The Plain Truth and Vanishing Acts, both are great) and anything by Nicholas Sparks.  Good luck and I hope time flies by for you!

Well you are in my prayers.....and the good thing your best rest shouldnt be more than a few wks before you can have him without "worry" per say. Grab a few good novels or do like my friend at work ....she took up knitting during bedrest and made lots of blankets!
