online childbirth class?

I'm registered for a childbirth class at my hospital. However, the class doesn't take place until the two Saturdays before my due date.  Since I'm now on bedrest with an already thinned cervix, I don't think I'm going to make it that far. If so, great; if not, I want to be a little bit prepared.  All of the online classes I've found so far want you to register and/or purchase books/videos.  Does anyone know of a good online class?
Thanks

I didn't know u could take online childbirth classes - that's neat... I had my daughter 6 years ago, and the hospital that gave the birthing classes then didn't offer anything like that. I'm pregnant w/ baby #2, and I'm not bothering w/ birthing classes this time. I had total back labor w/ my first child & got in so much pain I couldn't even breathe (I was on oxygen). There was no way Lamaze would've helped me. The nurse kept saying try your Lamaze... If I could've come up out of that birthing bed I would have choked her! lol I hope u are able to find a class that fits your needs, and that u have a better experience than me...

The only thing I know of would be all of the information on the website what to expect when you are expecting.  They have alot of info on there.  Here is the link to all the information about L&D.  Oh and if you sign up through there website they send you daily emails about your pregnancy.  It is really neat.  Good luck to you.

There is a really cool online childbirth class at www.maiainstitute.com - I am taking the online class and class at the hospital and I learned so much extra information through the online birth class that they didn't share at the hospital class, and you don't have to buy any extra books or videos, just the class. Hope this helps!
