Bacterial vaginosis
Just came back from my OB, He did a speculum exam and said I may have BV, he prescribe Flaggly. Has anyone else experienced this?? I am just a little worried. I will be 35 wks tomorrow. He also did an exam and said I was Fingertip, should I be worried?
Oh I had a mild case of that a month or 2 ago. My doctor prescribed me..oh man..I forgot the name of the pill and I threw away the bottle...but he had me take these pills that are white in color with a very metalic icky taste. I had to take them twice a day for 7 days along with Acidophilus once a day. The white pills were for the bacteria and the Acidophilus was to make sure the white pills didn't kill the body's good bacteria. Then after I finished my pills on the 8th, he prescribed me either Monistat or Vagisil..which was a one time thing..and when I went to my doc's next appt, it cleared up and everything was normal! I have never heard the term Fingertip, so I couldn't tell you if it's good or bad

for the flagyl is it just the one pill? if so i had a check up at my ob for some itchy kinda burning in the vaginal area this past week so she did a speculum exam and she tested it and she said it may be Bacterial Vaginois or a yeast infection well it was start of a yeast infection i took the flagyl (its was just 1 pill) and all is great now.. I am 32w5d and as of the exam i am still completely closed.. but as for you. you are farther along a lil more than me so a fingertip maybe a good thing :0) but i am not sure maybe someone else can answer you on that.. did your doc. say it was good or not?
