I like the ideas.  I am not really bringing much, as with my daughter I WAY overpacked and then just had to do a bunch of unnecessary laundry when I got home, because I wanted to wash everything I didn't wear since it went with me to the hospital!  I am bringing my flip video cam. to shoot a few scenes BEFORE and AFTER labor, a camera, 2 pairs of undies (last time I wore those mesh ones they give you at the hospital since you have to wear all these huge pads!), clearasil daily face wash, a razor, my prenatal vitamins, deodorant, shampoo and conditioner, a toothbrush, and some makeup (for those pics that get taken!), a hair brush, hair gels, a nursing bra, breast shields (for soreness), and nipple cream (for soreness), a going home outfit (probably just maternity clothes, since my tummy will still be quite stretched!), and a robe.  For the babies (I'm having twins), one tiny outfit for each, 2 car seats,  and that's it!  I am going to bring some really junky slippers as I ruined my nice ones when my daughter was delivered (stepping on yucky hospital floors, and some blood got on them!)

I'm still thinking about this also and will need to get a checklist going.  I like your ideas so far.

-Baby:
*going away outfit
*extra outfit incase they spit up
*car seat
*1 pair of pj's
*1 sweater or bunting
*1 blanket and hat

-Momma:
*nursing bras
*pj's
*toiletries and headband or hair ties
*slippers
*change of clothes
*2-3 pairs of undies

-Other:
*camera / video / extra batteries
*cell phone
* hard candy - for labour

I got this off of a website:  www.bardehn.com  (hope the link still works!)

Getting excited too!!  Best of luck!
