First US and 3rd Beta

So I am 5w3d today and had a ultrasound today. We have a singleton. My HCG is still going up strongly, it was 140 on 4w, 510 on 4w 3d and now it is 9021 at 5w3d. So it is going up quicker than expected (if it doubled every 2 days it would be only 4480!)
However on ultrasound there was one sac with one yolk sac so the HCG must just show that it is bedding in well!

I also heard that the HCG goes up quicker to start with if it is a girl. So maybe we have a little girl in there. Either way I know have a picture of a smudgy black spot on a grainy whit background that is supposed to be our baby. I can't wait for it to be further along so we can actually see the baby in the ultrasound.

I still don't feel pregnant so it all feels really odd. I keep worrying that it is all just a dream or that now I have gotten pregnant that something will go wrong and I will miscarry. I have been a little nauseous in the mornings for the last few mornings, but I could also be imagining it - wanting some kind of sign this is real.

Is anyone else feeling 'more' pregnant?

My daughter Cait is almost 7 weeks.  last week her HCG leves didnt go up but down a little and the u/s showed 1 sac and 2 fetal poles and again for the 2nd time no heartbeats :(  We go again tuesday for another HCG test, u/s and doctor visit.  She feels no symptoms either pregnant or miscarriage.. Just a little stuffy (with headache) for the past  3 days, and a little more hungry and if she doesnt eat, she feels nauseated.  So we are waiting till Tuesday hopefully to find some kind of result whether she's pregnant or miscarrying.  Praying for the BEST, expecting the worse!

I'm so glad you posted this.  I've been feeling the exact same way (6 w 3 d).  I feel a little nauseous at times, but wonder if I'm imagining it, or if it's real.  I get worried I'm not feeling more.  I will say that when I was pregnant with my daughter, I didn't really get sick, sick until around week 7 plus.  So maybe it's just too soon!  I am very tired.  But, beyond that I don't have the sore bb's or any other symptoms, but a little nausea.

wow I'm complete opposite from you, I'm sick all the time.. but not to the extreme
But I still don't feel pregnant.. as weird as that sounds.. I'm soo happy for you when is your due date?
You and I have the same fears for sure.. within the last year 3 people I know had miscarriages soo its hard not to think your going to have one.. I'm soo happy my dr. booked me an u/s for tomorrow, to make sure everything is ok.
I wish you both a happy and healthy 9 months.. ooo and good labours..

No, I am still feeling the same as I did since I found out...just more hungry and tired.  It makes me worry that I am not feeling anything more.  I always forget that I am pregnant.  I am 6 weeks today and have my u/s on Monday to see how many there are.  I would not worry if I were you though since you know yoru numbers are going up very well and you have a singleton and there is nothing wrong so be happy because within the next few weeks you will be wishing you felt like you do now because you will probably be feeling sick.  Let me know when you feel differently or more pregnant.
